NCCU’S STUDENT HEALTH AND COUNSELING SERVIES SPONSORS A MALE ACCOUNTABILITY FORUM
DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central University (NCCU) Student Health and Counseling Services will sponsor a Male Accountability Forum on Tuesday, October 10, at 7:30 p.m. in B.N. Duke Auditorium.
Some of the discussion topics will include academic responsibilities; being accountable morally and spiritually; health and wellness concerns; dating; abstinence; financial and asset management; “no” means “no”; defining sexual assault; and men being a part of the
solution toward ending violence against women.
Panelists include Irving Joyner, professor, NCCU’s School of Law; Algin Holloway, NCCU’s Residential Life; Charles Mitchell, Department of Human Sciences; and Bryan Profitt and Phoenix Brangman, MARC (Men Against Rape Culture). Sherman Freeman, NCCU’s Counseling Center will serve as the facilitator for the forum.
